Ndlovumzi is a 1000ha wildlife reserve and is located 35km outside the town of Hoedspruit.
Its Northern boundary being the Olifants River, there are a total of 43 free hold properties within the Reserve, and each stand is 21ha in size. Residents truly do own a unique and sizable piece of the African bush.
Due to the excellent veld conditions Ndlovzumzi has a wide variety of plains game such as Waterbuck, Zebra, Giraffe, Kudu, Nyala, Duiker, Warthog, Implala and many more species. Numerous bird species abound for the avid birder or ornithologist; there is also a resident pair of Wahlberg’s and African Hawk Eagles, both of which breed annually on the reserve when conditions are right. Lets not forget the nocturnal species, namely Civet Cat, Genet, Porcupine and the allusive Caracal to mention a few.
A number of properties have river frontage views while others over the Drakensburg Mountains, alternately there are bushveld properties that have an authentic bush appeal.
There is an elevated communal viewing point located on the southern boundary. The panoramic view takes in a fair portion of the reserve toward the Olifants River and surrounds. A great sunset spot to meet up with fellow residents, enjoy with family and friends or just take time out for you. One also has access to a central bush boma braai facility, a great venue to setup for an evening meal. Relax and enjoy the sounds of the African night under an incredible canopy of stars
The reserve has an electrified boundary fence and there is a gatehouse with guards on duty 24 hours a day. All visitors and guests are required to sign in when entering and exiting the reserve.
